FOUR PAWS and the Kiev City Administration sign a Memorandum of Understanding
Another great step forward for the stray animals of Ukraine
 Representatives of the international animal welfare organization FOUR PAWS and the Kiev City State Administration, represented by the First Deputy Head of the Kiev City State Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak, signed in the Kiev City Council Offices a Memorandum of Understanding joining the FOUR PAWS way in providing a humane solution for the stray animal problem in Kiev.
FOUR PAWS‘ project manager, Dr. Amir Khalil, will lead the implementation of an intensive neutering and vaccination program for the stray dogs in Kiev in the coming weeks, in order to solve the stray dog problem in a long term and sustainable animal-friendly way. In return, the Deputy Head of Kiev City Administration Oleksandr Mazurchak welcomed FOUR PAWS to Ukraine and the city of Kiev. Mr Mazurchak is pleased to have the international animal welfare organisation’s assistance with helping to solve the problem, and undertakes to give the full support of the Kiev City Administration.
"We are happy to work with FOUR PAWS to solve the stray animal problem in a humane way, using their international experience", says Oleksandr Mazurchak.
FOUR PAWS welcomes the cooperation from the Kiev authorities and sees this project as another great step forward for animal welfare.
