CCR - the only help for humans and animals
FOUR PAWS uses the CCR method (the letters stand for Catch, Castrate, Release) - it is the only way to help both humans and animals.
The stray dogs - most of them of a trusting nature - are caught and either transported to an animal clinic or brought to the FOUR PAWS surgery bus, where they are put under deep-sleep anesthesia and then castrated. Thanks to the new surgical method used, the incisions are very small and, after a few hours of observation, the animals can be released into their territories again having been vaccinated, wormed and medically treated for pesticides.
Before they are released, they are given a nylon band for identification purposes.
