	Journey to Freedom - Day 29 02 September 2009 PORTRAIT OF AN ELEPHANT NAME: JACK AGE: 9 to 12 years (estimated) SEX: MALE HISTORY: Jack is a young teenager who would naturally be venturing away from the herd at this stage of his life, to join up with other bachelor males. He is showing signs of frustration at not being able to do this and is trying to exert his independence. As a result, the others are giving him a hard time, regularly pushing him with their tusks. He therefore is clearly identified through all the scars on his rump.
