We need your help for South African lions!  

South Africa’s Department for Environment has announced it will be creating a Ministerial Task Team to work on the plans to phase out of the captive lion breeding industry. It is imperative that individuals from animal welfare organisations are on this task team, to ensure that this phase out is both effective and humane. 

Now is our chance to nominate individuals to be part of this important team and we need your help to nominate our Director, Fiona Miles. Fiona has been campaigning and advocating for the phase out of the captive lion breeding industry in South Africa, for over 16 years. She knows exactly what it takes to rescue lions from exploitative conditions and what it takes to transform an exploitative facility into a True Sanctuary, to truly rescue big cats, as she did with LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary.
